Often, we view our kids' challenging behaviors as a deficit, willful defiance, or a problem that can be solved with punishment or consequences. In many cases, our kids just don't have the skills to behave productively. Understanding and Interrupting Triggers

Do you ever feel the urge to yell, punish, or walk away when faced with certain child behaviors, while others seem to roll off your back? Do you notice that one child triggers you more than another? These triggers often point to unresolved issues, and our children have a way of bringing them to the surface.

Transition to Kindergarten

This workshop helps parents understand and prepare for the shift from preK to K. Will there be naps? What do we do about bathroom accidents? Does my kiddo need to read at a certain level? We’ve got answers to these and all your other questions. This workshop is co-facilitated by a Kindergarten teacher, and a parent coach to help with the transition for your kid and for you!

Classroom and Group Management Bootcamp Part 1 & 2

This workshop is structured as two 90-minute sessions for optimal learning and engagement. Positive youth development is grounded in four key principles: safety, relationship building, youth participation, and community involvement.

Supporting Spirited Kids (including ADHD, Behavioral Challenges, and Special Needs)

You may encounter a subset of children who demand a significant amount of your time and energy. These children often experience intense emotions that manifest in impulsive and challenging behaviors. Traditional methods of connection, setting boundaries, and behavior support may not be as effective with them. Additionally, some of these children may have ADHD or past trauma. In this workshop, you'll gain valuable insights on how to effectively support these Spirited Children in a manner that meets their unique needs.
